Many of us think about accepting the challenge of ultra marathons but...but...but, so many ifs and buts come in between. I earnestly request all of you to put your experiences and words of wisdom regarding the challenge of ultra marathon training so that we may together conquer this grueling and daring task of running.

I, personally training hard for ultra marathons and have initiated with a modest goal of around 56K running per week. My emphasis lies on weekend back to back long distance running. Nowadays it is 21-24K on every Sunday followed by a 10K on the next day. Running only five days in a week.
