It's been almost a week since we started talking about the problem of traffic to this site, and judging by this past week, it looks like there hasn't been any traffic to this site this past week. At least nobody did what this site does best, interact. Any ideas or comments will help ... it will certainly help in directing some traffic here :)

Tanmoy,

Well, there is a lot of traffic on this site, without it being visible. From the stats for this website, I can see than on an average, there 55 unique visitors daily, who, on the average, view a total of 270 pages daily (viewing photos, checking member profiles, checking out events, etc). There is some discussion going on within individual groups (for example, the Sunday Fun Club is pretty active, nice going folks!), but those discussions do not reflect on the main page.

I guess, the real point is how to get people involved on the discussion forum, not an easy task, and probably needs more people from our other forums to get here to make that happen, but I guess this is still early days for this website. If I compare this website to some other much larger forums, we are not doing bad at all.

There is very little information attached to the profile of each member. Many more fields need to be created like, personal achievements, weight, height, typical workout, qualification, profession, hobbies etc etc. This will help people to get closer to each other.
I Agree Sanjay, will add more very soon as suggested.
