The race results just came out on
timingindia.com. There were lots of Delhi Runners around. In fact, I met about 8 on my train to Mumbai, and several more at the Expo and the run. Also, it was fun to meet so many runners who I have just known through emails and facebook from all over India.
My net timing was 4:52:57, a personal best at Mumbai.
Lets share our experiences and timings here.
Good:
* Frequent medical stops towards the end with helpful volunteers
* great crowd support, people offering all sorts of nourishment and encouragement all the way
* better start for full marathon runners with less crowd
Not so Good:
* Almost no toilets on the route
* No water stop on 5K sea link stretch
* no medals for half marathon finishers
