There is a large man made lake built in the 14 century by the Tughl aqs. It has a running track all around it. Its a beautiful place to ru n. There are many buildings of the 14 century Tughlaq dynasty, lots of birds, plenty of greenery and the company of other runners/walkers. P art of the lake track in soft, while some of it has stone tiles. Early mornings and evenings are a great time in this park.\nThere is also a n unpaved trail around the deer park, that is good for trail running. Well shaded trail, so it protects from the sun and the heat. Both trai ls are about 1.6 kms long, and a visual as well as physical respite fr om the hustle and bustle of Delhi.\n\nEven though the run is labeled a s a Half Marathon series, runners can choose to run any distance, just remember that the loop is 6.5 KM, and calculate your run distance acc ordingly.\n\nRegistration Confirmation:\nPlease confirm your registrat ion on the delhirunners.com Event page (i.e. this page, by adding your self to the event),\n\nOR, on the Delhi Runners Facebook group Event p age.\n\nInstructions: Runners will need to carry their own water and e nergy drinks as required.
